O*T v. COVID-19
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has brought about a time of unprecedented uncertainty. At O’Connor * Telezinski, our staff and clients are like family to us, and we care about the well-being of our community. Our hearts are with those who have been affected personally by COVID-19, as well as the many communities that are facing extreme measures in an aim to slow the spread. As COVID-19 has raised concerns across the globe, we have decided to implement the following among staff and communications with clients.
CLIENT WORK AND SERVICE Our clients are important to us and our priority is to continue operations in the safest way possible. With heightened concern and awareness, we ask that our clients are patient with us currently as we are still operating while also adjusting and being sure to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our staff.
EMPLOYEE WELL BEING AND TECHNOLOGY Our firm is implementing various methods to allow our employees to work remotely. As it is recommended more and more that employees begin to work from home, O’Connor * Telezinski is making the transition and working towards following suit. This has allowed our firm and our professionals to continue to work without interruption to client work. We have encouraged our staff to follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
- We have expressed to our staff that if they experience coughing, sneezing, or shortness of breath/difficulty breathing to stay home.
- We advise all staff to take their temperature prior to attending the workday and if their temperature is above 100.4° Fahrenheit to stay home.
- As some staff members are still in office, we advise all staff to wash hands frequently with soap and dry with paper towels. To use hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes, as needed. To routinely clean frequently touched surfaces, such as workstations, countertops, and doorknobs. Face masks are not recommended by the CDC for use by healthy people and should only be used if recommended by a healthcare professional or by those who are caring for people infected with COVID-19. The buildings we currently operate in are taking extreme precautions in maintaining sanitized environments.
Like you, we are worried about our families and want to be sure that we do everything in our power to keep our community safe, taking every necessary precaution and following the guidelines of state mandates, federal agencies, and experts to maintain calmness and safe environments for all of us. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
